PC players will get the game first on 30th May 2023 while console owners will have to wait. The message from Nightdive says that PlayStation and Xbox ports are due soon, but a console release date is not known yet. The System Shock remake release date has arrived on PC, and is coming soon to consoles. The System Shock remake is also planned for consoles. The news comes from the System Shock Steam page, in which a post by the developer says that the remake is now heading for release on May 30. It’s no secret that the original 1994 game hasn’t. Nightdive Studios was also behind System Shock: Enhanced Edition and acquired the System Shock franchise rights in 2015. Gameplay wise, System Shock is looking fairly typical of a first-person game in the trailer. In 2020, Nightdive Studios showcased the previously mentioned dismemberment feature, which wasn't in the original game. System Shock was initially unveiled in March 2016 with gameplay footage, followed by a Kickstarter campaign that brought in $1.35 million.
